Short answers

A Willow Book is a live guestbook for personal events. Guests scan a QR code — no account, no app, no email.

What does the free trial include?
Fourteen days to create one guestbook on the Keepsake plan — photos, not video. Share the link, let the room write, and pay only if you keep it. No credit card to start.
Do guests need an account?
No. Guests scan a QR code or open a guest link, leave an optional name, a note, and photos — or, on Heirloom and Legacy guestbooks, one short video. There is no sign-up and no email.
How does the host moderate the guestbook?
Sign in and open guestbooks you created from your account. From there you can hide messages. Guests never see moderation tools.
What if I can’t find my guestbook?
Sign in and open Your guestbooks. Every guestbook you create while signed in lives there. We can’t move a guestbook between accounts.
Can guests add photos or video?
Every plan accepts photos — up to ten per message. Heirloom and Legacy also accept one short video per message (under 10 MiB), not both in the same message. The free trial and Keepsake are photos only. We compress photos before upload so venue wifi survives.
What happens when the trial ends?
If you have not purchased a plan, the guestbook locks after fourteen days: guests can no longer open it or add messages. You can still sign in, open your guestbook, read everything, and export. Thirty days after the trial ends, the guestbook and its messages are removed unless you upgrade first.
How long is a paid guestbook kept?
Keepsake is kept for one year from purchase, Heirloom for five years, and Legacy for ten. When that keeping period ends, public guest access closes for three months while you can still open and export. After that grace, the guestbook is removed.
Is there a cost?
Yes — three one-time plans (Keepsake, Heirloom, and Legacy) cover storage and how long the guestbook is kept. Every plan starts with a 14-day free trial, no credit card required. Payments are not open yet. See Pricing for the full breakdown.
What about refunds?
If you purchase and you are not satisfied, we return your money — no questions asked. A refund returns what you paid; it does not by itself close your guestbook or delete guest messages.
